Plan Sponsor/Payroll Transition Support Resource

This web page was created to provide information to Plan Sponsors and Payroll Administrators about the changes coming to the Massachusetts Deferred Compensation SMART Plan.

The SMART Plan has selected Great-West Retirement Services^® as the new provider of administration and recordkeeping. The transition date of participant accounts from ING to Great-West Retirement Services is scheduled for March 7, 2008.

Information for all Plan Sponsors and Payroll Administrators
To ensure that smooth payroll processing continues each period, Great-West Retirement Services conducted training seminars across the state in December. These meetings explained the changes to payroll processing, enrollment procedures and new standard operating procedures.
